Main system profile (also called office profile) stores various
information that identifies each installation within an office or
a listing exchange organization.
Some of this information, such as company name, address,
logo and custom disclaimer message are used in reports.
- Other fields contain various system settings, such as the communication parameters, last
backup
date, default backup drive, last upload/download dates, hub access password, etc.
The system also stores user profiles, including their photos,
digitized signatures, passwords, names, titles, home phone
numbers, etc. which are only accessible to the user himself
of herself.
Some of this information is used to personalize the reports
produced by each user and to fill mail-merge fields such as
printing the user's digitized signature in letters or postcards.
- If a vendor allows users to lease the Realty Vision software, the system periodically asks users
to
enter a new access code, which can be obtained over the telephone in a few
seconds.
Utilities module also contains a simple backup and restore
function that allows system managers and individual users
to save their own data through their own passwords.
Another feature of Realty Vision, which does not display an
interactive screen, is the ability to send software upgrades
through the hub as part of a daily download process, which
are automatically installed/applied by the receiving nodes.
